S. Vietnam, Prov. Lam Dong, distr. Lac Duong, municipalite Da Chay, 31 km to NE from Dalat city (N 12° 08′, E 108° 39′). Closed primary evergreen broadleaved mt forest on NNW macroslope of Bi Dup mt system at 1600-1700 m alt. Terrestrial herb on steep dry shadow mt slopes. Flowers odourless, white, center of epichile brown with yellow nerves, anther margin light violet. Common. VH 4525 02.05.1997 International Botanical Expedition of the U.S.A.
