Calanthe sylvatica (Thouars) Lindl.

Son La Prov., Moc Chau Distr., Van Ho Municipality, Hua Tat village, around point 20°46′16″N 104°47′44″E.

Broad-leaved evergreen forest with Pinus kwangtungensis and Podocarpus pilgeri on tops of ridge composed with rocky crystalline solid marble-like highly eroded limestone at elev. 1200-1350 m a.s.l.

Terrestrial rosulate herb on shady steep rocky slope. Flowers light violet, leaves dull green to gray-silvery. Occasional.
