N.Vietnam, Bac Kan Prov., Ba Be Distr., Nam Mau Municipality, Ba Be National Park around point 22°25′34′'N 105°36′03′'E. Heavily logged primary closed evergreen dry broad-leaved forest on steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with crystalline highly eroded marble-like limestone at elevation 660 m a.s.l.
Lithophytic herb on rock outcrops. Leaves with longitudinal silvery stripes. Flowers odorless, white, lip with central yellow spot. Locally common.
