Phongsali Prov., Muong May Distr., around point 21°12’32”N 102°53’44”E. Highly destroyed primary dry evergreen broad-leaved forest along tops of hill ridge composed with shale at elevation 1250-1400 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on old mossy trees. Flowers with strong chocolate fragrance, tepals olive-yellowish with dark brown tessellation, lip dull brown, side lobes and column dull yellowish. Not rare.
