Stereosandra javanica Blume

Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., A Roang Municipality, Tra Lenh Forestry Department station, around point 16°04'41''N, 107°29'06''E. Primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep mountain slopes composed with shale, sandstone and granite at elevation 700-800 m a.s.l. Achlorophyllous white ground tuberiferous saprophyte on shady slope of rocky stream valley. Tepals (including lip) white with black-violet tips, column white, fruits white with dirty purple-violet marks, later light yellowish. Rare.
