N. Vietnam, prov. Lao Cai, distr. Than Uyen, municipality Ho Mit (N 22°06′ E 103°52′). Remnants of primary broadleaved evergreen wet forest on quartzites along Mit Noi river between Ho Mit and Ban Thao villages at elev. 1100 m (SSW macroslope of Hoang Lien Son ridge).
