Phaius tonkinensis (Aver.) Aver.

Hoa Binh Prov., Lac Son Distr., Tu Do Municipality, Coi Gao village, around point 20°26’07”N 105°17’19”E. Secondary rich forest on steep rocky slopes of limestone mountain at elevation about 600 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on shady mossy slope. Not common.

Fl. under cultivation at October – November 2012. Flowers odorless, sepals and petals white, lip light purple-violet, with unclear fuzzy white spots. Column white.
