Paphiopedilum malipoense Chen et Tsi

N. Vietnam, Prov. Hoa Binh, Distr. Mai Chau, subdistr. Pa Co, near 3 km to NE of Pa Co village. Primary evergreen mountain forest on the top of limestone ridge at 1200 m alt. Epilitic herb with tesselated leaves. Flowers light green with brown irregular strips, slightly pleasant smelled, tip of staminode deep brown or nearly black. Rare, but occasionally abundant.
