Paphiopedilum concolor

N. Vietnam, Lang Son prov., Huu Lung distr., Huu Lien municipality (N 21°40′ E 106°22′). Primary evergreen broadleaved wet forest on steep slopes of remnant karst limestone ridge at elev. 400-450 m a.s.l. Lithophytic forb on open rocks and cliffs of N exposition. Leaves above glossy, white-green tersselated, uniformly deep violet-black below. Not rare.
