S.Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., living collection of Dalat Biology Institute. Also common in sale in local market in Dalat town. Primary broad-leaved evergreen mountain forest at 1000-1400 m elev. to the SE of Dalat city along boundary with prov. Ninh Tuan (origin of plants should be verified).

Flowers odourless: central sepal white, at the middle light pink-violet, with numerous longitudinal deep green stripes and few small sylver warts near the base; synsepalum white at the middle with hadly visible violet tint and green longitudinal stripes; lateral petals green in basal half, with white stripes, apical half dull pink-violet, petals with few black-brown spots and warts along upper margin, hairiness black-brown; lip olive-green, with dull dirty-violet
