Remnants of primary broad-leaved and coniferous forest on ridge tops and on very steep slopes and cliffs of rocky ridges and mesae composed with light gray solid marble-like highly eroded crystalline limestone.
Epiphyte in shady places. Flowers yellow-orange. Not rare.
