Lao PDR, Bolikhamsai prov., Thaphabat distr., Tad Xay, Phou Khao Khouay National Protected Area, Pha Xay waterfall, Buffalo Horn Mountain, around point 18º27´25.0 N, 103º08´25.2 E at elevation about 340 m a.s.l., 26–30 November 2016, Nikolai L. Orlov, Larissa K. Ioganssen, NLO-052.
Orchid flowered in January and in February 2018. Herbarium specimen prepared in 15 February 2018.
