N. Vietnam, prov. Lao Cai, distr. Than Uyen, municipality Ho Mit (N

22º06' E 103º52'). Remnants of primary broadleaved evergreen wet

forest on quartzites along Mit Noi river between Ho Mit and Ban Thao

villages at elev. 800 m (SSW macroslope of Hoang Lien Son ridge).

Lithophyte forb on quartzite river cliffs. Not rare.
