Begonia sp.
N. Vietnam, Bac Can prov., Ba Be distr., Nam Mau municipality, near
Hua Tang village, Ba Be national park (22º27'10''N, 105º34'29''E).
Primary dry broad-leaved evergreen forest (with Burettiodendron
hsienmu as a main dominant) on very steep slopes of remnant highly
eroded limestone ridge at elev. 500-600 m a.s.l. Lithophyte herb in
crevices of vertical shady cliffs. Leaves light green with irregular
white palmate arranged spots above, pure light green below. Flowers
light pink, anthers yellow. Very common.
