Gastrodia punctata Aver. Type

Vietnam, Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Da Chais Municipality, around point 12º06’44’N 108º39’27’’E, at elevation 1800-2000 m a.s.l. along main ridge and on W slope of Bi Doup mt. Primary broad-leaved closed wet forest. Terrestrial achlorophyllous dull brownish saprophyte. Sepals outside olive-brown with numerous unclear whitish marks. Very rare.
