Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed and coniferous (with Pinus. kwangtungensis) forest on very steep slopes and cliffs along tops of. rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like stratified limestone. Creeping lithophyte. Leaves deep green above, deep purple-violet. below. Very common. No HAL 4698 20 May 2004.
