Remnants of primary wet closed broadleaved forest on steep slope of mountains composed with sandstone and shale at elevation around 635 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphyte on tall trees. Flowers solitary, pale dull brownish. Locally very common. LA-VN 26 18 January 2009. Coll.: S.Bounphanmy, N.T.Hiep, L.Averyanov, V.Lamxay, P.K.Loc, N.Q.Hieu. Flowered in cultivation at 31 August 2009. Flowers with light sweetish fragrance; sepals and petals dull olive-greenish heavily spotted with small chestnut spots; lip dull yellow to yellow-orange with orange hairs and reddish-brown apex; column white to light greenish with numerous small purple-brown marks; stelidia white; anther yellow.
