Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Yen Minh Distr, Lao Va Chai Municipality, vicinities of Chi Sang village around point 23º05’55’’N, 105º04’10’’E at elevation about 1500 m a.s.l.
Primary mossy coniferous forest with Tsuga sinensis and Pinus kwamgtungensis on tops of high rocky ridge composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone.
Small erect lithophytic vine on shady mossy rocks along rocky mossy ridge edge. Tepals light dull yellowish, indistinctly reddish-brown spotted, lip light dull yellowish, epichile white with indistinct small reddish-purple spots. Leaves deep green, dirty violet spotted. Occasional.
