Gastrochilus calceolaris (J.E.Smith) D.Don

Vietnam, Quang Tri Prov., Huong Hoa Distr., Huong Phung Municipality, Sa Mui pass, around point 16º47’42’’N 106º35’50’’E at elevation about 1000 m a.s.l. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen submontane forest on shale mountains. Epiphyte on mossy trees along rocky shady stream valley. Tepals yellow with brown-reddish spots, lip with yellow center and white fringes. Locally very common.
