Gastrochilus calceolaris (J.E.Smith) D.Don

N. Viet Nam, Son la Prov., Yen Chau Distr., Muong Lum Municipality, On Oc Village. Primary forest with some timber trees removed along limestone ridgetop, 20ø59'06"N, 104ø28'46"E at elev. 1468 m. Epiphyte. Outer petals light, transparent green with dark purple spots, lower petal light green with dark purple-red spots, fringed in pure white, deep red near rostellum, yellow at tip, behind fringe yellow with red spots.
