Phu Tho prov., Tan Son distr., Xuan Son municipality, Tan Lua mountain, around point 21°08'05.4"N 104°56'55.1"E. Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed forest on solid crystalline highly eroded limestone mountains at elev. about 600 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on mossy trees on rocky top of remnant limestone mountains. Occasional. CPC 4629a 16 November 2011. Coll.: P.V.The, N.T.Vinh. Flowered under cultivation in April 2012, Flowers odorless, lateral sepals olive-greenish, median sepal, petals and lip dirty brownish-purple. L.Averyanov
