Quang Nam Prov., Dai Loc Distr., Dai Hong municipality, environs of Dai Hong town around point 15°49'44"N 107°57'19"E. Remnants of primary and secondary dry broadleaved evergreen forest on rocky sandy uplifted plateau composed with eroded sandstone at elev. about 550 m a.s.l. Epiphyte on old trees in shady place. Flowers yellowish to light violet. Not rare. CPC 3574a 21 May 2011. Coll.: L.Averyanov, P.K.Loc, N.Q.Hieu, P.V.The, N.T.Vinh.

Fl. under cultivation in June 2012.
