Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr, about 2 km to the NE of Quan Ba town, around point 23º05’49’’N, 105º01’00’’E at elevation about 1150 m a.s.l. Primary coniferous forest with Calocedrus rupestris, Callitropsis vietnamensis and Pseudotsuga sinensis on rocky highly eroded marble-like limestone remnant mountains. Lithophytic herb on shady wet rocky mossy slope. Flowers white, lip side-lobes deep purple striped, lip with yellow epichile. Very common. Co-dominant of lithophytic herb communities.
