Epigeneium amplum (Lindl.) Summerh.

Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr, Can Ty Municipality, about 3 km to NWW of Quan Ba town, around point 23º05’49’’N, 105º00’28’’E at elevation about 1200 m a.s.l.

Primary mossy cloudy coniferous forest with Pseudotsuga sinensis on tops of high rocky ridge composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone along left side of Mien river.

Creeping lithophytic and epiphytic vine on mossy slope. Tepals light yellowish, lip yellow, purple-brown marked, with white base, column white. purple-pink striped, anther white. Very common. Co-dominant of herbaceous plant communities.
