S. Vietnam, Dak Lak province, Chu Yang Sin mountain, broad-leaved evergreen humid mountain forest. Rare. November 2014. Nguyen Van Canh s.n. Flowered in cultivation in 5 December 2014 in Nguyen Van Canh garden (Buon Ma Thuot). 5 December 2014, CPC 7684 photos, living coll. Coll. L.Averyanov, N.V.Duy, N.T.Hiep, Quach Van Hoi. Fl. 27 Feb. 2017, sepals, petals and column yellowish speckled with purple, lip purple with yellowish apex. Odorless.
