Vietnam, Thua Thien ° Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., Hong Van Municipality, Ta Lo village, around point 16°21'52"N, 107°09'36"E at elevation about 800-1000 m a.s.l. Secondary wet broad-leaved closed forest on steep mountain slopes composed with shale and granite. Terrestrial herb up to 1.5 m tall on open rocky slope along trail.
