FLORA OF VIETNAM Fam. Convallariaceae Polygonatum sp. Northern Vietnam, Lao Cai Prov., Van Ban Distr., Khanh Yen Ha municipality, to the SW of Na Nheo village (in the vicinity of point 21°57'26"N, 104°13'00"E). Primary evergreen broad-leaved montane forest along granite/quartzite ridge at elev. 2200 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on very steep rocky slopes. Epiphytic herb on mossy trees in shady slope. Flowers white with green tips of tepals, stem green with purple-violet marks, bracts at the base of stem purple-violet. Common at elev. 2200-2650 m a.s.l.
