FLORA OF VIETNAM

Orchidaceae

Didymoplexiella siamensis (Rolfe) Seidenf.

Vietnam, Quang Tri Prov., Huong Hoa Distr., Huong Phung Municipality, Sa Mui pass, around point 16º47’42’’N 106º35’50’’E at elevation about 1000 m a.s.l. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen submontane forest on shale mountains. Terrestrial achlorophyllous olive-brownish to nearly black saprophyte on rocky shady stream slope with bamboo. Flowers white, lip light blue-violet. Not common.
