S.Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue Prov., Phu Loc Distr., Bach Ma National Park, Bach Ma mt, about 6 km to the W from headquarter to Hai Vong Dai peak, around point 16°11'65''N 107°51'53''E at elev. about 800 m a.s.l. Mixed and broad-leaved evergreen primary closed mt forest on steep granite slopes. Treelet about 6 m tall. Flowers brown-purple, tops of petals dull yellow.
