J.J.Smith S.Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue Prov., Phu Loc Distr., Bach Ma National Park, N slope of Bach Ma mt system, to the N of point 16°11'50''N 107°50'44''E at elev. 600-1000 m a.s.l. Mixed and broad-leaved evergreen primary closed wet mt forest with Shorea stellata & Dacrycarpus imbricatus along narrow ridge and on very steep sandstone/shale slopes.
