N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Bao Lac, municipality Yen Lac, vicinities of Yen Lac village (N 22ø44' E 105ø50'). Secondary open broadleaved forest on alluvial foothills of remnant karst limestone ridges at 1050-1100 m elev. Epiphyte on old tree. Flowers odorless: tepals brown with yellow longitudinal stripes, lip - epichile brown with longitudinal yellow stripes, gypochile side lobes light yellowish with numerous small purple marks and yellow center; column and anther yellowish-white. Not common.
