N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Bao Lac, municipality Yen Lac, vicinities of Yen Lac village (N 22ш44' E 105ш50'), about 44 km to NWW from Cao Bang town. Primary evegreen closed broadleaved forest on steep mt slopes of limestone ridge at 1200 m alt. Herb up to 0.5 m hg on steep shadow slope. Not rare.
