Primary closed evergreen wet broadleaved and mixed forest with Pinus kwangtungensis on very steep slopes and cliffs of remnant mountains composed with highly eroded crystalline limestone near the top of ridge at elev. 900-1000 m a.s.l.
Terrestrial and lithophytic herb in shady places. Leaves velvety black whth white reticulated venation above, dull pinkish below. Occasional.
