Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., Huong Nguyen Municipality, in vicinities of Tra Ve forest protection station, around point 16°15′27′'N, 107°26′15′'E at elevation about 150-250 m a.s.l. Secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep hill and mountain slopes composed with shale. Terrestrial herb on hill slopes near the top of ridge. Not common. HAL 7887 5 May 2005.
