Lai Chau Prov., Tam Duong Distr., Ho Thau Community, Ho Thau village, around point 22°22’31’’N 103°35’15’’E.
Secondary open forest and shrubs along rocky stream valley composed with granite parental rocks at elev. about 1050-1100 m a.s.l.
Epiphyte on shady place along rocky stream slope. Flowers dull yellow-orange. Not common.
