FLORA OF VIETNAM

Cypripedium subtropicum S.C.Chen & K.Y.Lang

Lai Chau Prov., Sin Ho Distr., De Phin comm., around point 22°19’05.9N 103°13’53.8E. Degraded primary and secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep mountain slopes composed with shaly limestone at elevation about 1600 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb to 1 m tall in wet shady place on forest understory. Fruits greenish. Rare. Population highly depleted by previous commercial collecting.
