FLORA OF VIETNAM

Fam. Orchidaceae

Cymbidium lancifolium Hook.

N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Nguyen Binh, municipality Ca Thanh

(N 22ø44' E 105ø50'). Primary semideciduous broad-leaved forest on

steep slopes and bluffs of remnant karst limestone ridge at 1250-1300

m elev. Terrestrial and lithophyte herb. Tepals white with pink tint

and central pink stripe, lip white with purple-pinkish marks. Very

common.
