S. Vietnam, Prov. Kon Tum, Distr. Dak Gley, about 10-12 km to the SE of Dak Gley town (4-6 km to the E of Dak Tung village). Open mixed forest with domination of Pinus khesya, P. dalatensis and Lyonia ovalifolia on top of ridges at 1400-1500 m alt. in Ngoc Mi mountain system. Terrestrial and epilite herb. Common. Flowers: sepals and petals pink-violet; lip very light violet with deep purple strips and marks, central 2 keels brightly yellow; column light pink with yellow base and with small deep purple strips; anther yellow.
