FLORA OF VIETNAM

Fam. Orchidaceae

Cymbidium floribundum Lindl.

N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Nguyen Binh, municipality Ca Thanh

(N 22ø44' E 105ø50'). Primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep

slopes and bluffs of remnant karst limestone ridge at 1400 m elev.

Epiphyte. Flowers: tepals olive-brown with yellowish margin, lip light

pinkish with yellow keels and numerous small purple marks, column

olive-brownish, anther yellow. Not common.
