FLORA OF VIETNAM

Cymbidium ensifolium (L.) Sw.

Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Yen Minh Distr, Lao Va Chai Municipality, vicinities of Chi Sang village around point 23º05’55’’N, 105º04’10’’E at elevation about 1500 m a.s.l.

Primary mossy coniferous forest with Tsuga sinensis and Pinus kwamgtungensis on tops of high rocky ridge composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone.

Terrestrial and lithophytic herb along rocky mossy ridge edge. Flowers olive-green, tepals with brownish stripes, lip brownish-purple marked. Not common.
