FLORA OF VIETNAM

Orchidaceae

Cryptochilus arachnithes (Blume) Hassk.

S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La

forest enterprise (14ø39'N, 108ø25'E). Degraded primary and secondary

wet evergreen broad-leaved forest (with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus)

along mountain river valley at elev. about 1100-1150 m on sandstone.

Terrestrial herb on shady river slope. Flowers: tepals light green, lip

yellowish with brown-purple spots, anther yellow. Not common.
