FLORA OF LAOS Convallariaceae Aspidistra khangii Aver. et Tillich, sp.nov. Type Attapeu Prov., Saysettha Distr., Dong Am Pham National Protected Area, to the E of Paosamphanmixay village, around point 14°48’24.8”N 107°24’23.2”E. Primary broad-leaved evergreen lowland dry forest on steep shaly hill slopes at elevation 700-920 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb with ascending stem and erect leaves to 1.2 m long along mountain ridge in shady places. Very common to abundant. Old flowers dull brownish.
