Ha Giang prov., Yen Minh distr., Lao Va Chai mun., to west of Ngan Chai vill. about 0.5 km, around 23006'30'' N, 105004' 32'' E and 1400 m a.s.l. In wet and rich in humus places of coniferous (Pseudotsuga sinensis) submontane forest of limestone ridge.
