Phalaenopsis lobbii (Reichenb.f.) Sweet

Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr., vicinities of Quan Ba town around point 23є02’42’’N, 104є59’35’’E. Evergreen broad-leaved forest on rocky outcrops and cliffs of remnant mesae composed with highly eroded solid marble-like limestone at elevation 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Epiphyte with numerous flat green roots adpressed to the bark. Leaves 1-2, 3-7 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, tepals including lip uniform brightly yellow, column white. Very rare.
