Vietnam, Tay Ninh Prov., Tan Chau Distr., Tan Hoa Municipality, Dau Tieng Forest Protected Area. Dry Dipterocarp woodlands and wet grasslands on thin ferralite soils at elevation about 13 m a.s.l. Epiphyte in canopy of old Dipterocarp tree. Locally common.

Flowered under cultivation in November – December 2009. Flowers odorless; sepals and petals dull yellowish with 4-6 dull purple stripes; lip light yellowish, center yellow, with dull purple marks, fimbriate apex white; column and callus white; anther light yellow. Photos.
