N. Vietnam, Tuyen Quang prov., Na Hang distr., Thanh Tuong municipality, near Ban Bung village (22°16′26′'N, 105°25′58′'E). Primary broad-leaved evergreen very dry forest (with Burettiodendron hsienmu as a main dominant) near top of limestone ridge at elev. about 600 m a.s.l. Epiphyte. Not common. Flowered in culture at November-December 2001 Flowers odourless, Tepals light yellowish-white, lip light yellowish-white, side-lobes with few short longitudinal purple-violet stripes, median lobe with dull purple-violet irregular marks, apex - deep purple-violet; anther yellowish, pollinia bright yellow. 14 December 2001 Averyanov L.
