I think your plant is P. dasystachys. This is one of the two species so far little known of the genus from Indochina. I am glad to see the photos of the living plant.
If possible, I would like to have some more photos showing the abaxial side of sterile bracts on the peduncle which has probably 3 to 5 longitudinal veins, and the external views (from side and from bliquely above) of the pistil.
Since this species was first described, more than 80 years have passed. Hence this is a rediscovery after over 80 years. Let's take up this species, together with the one now being prepared, in our future paper.
I previously stated in my papers that this species is very close to P. macrostegia.
