FLORA OF VIETNAM Orchidaceae Paphiopedilum micranthum
N. Vietnam, Ha Giang prov., Meo Vac distr., vicinities of Meo Vac town (N 23°10′ E 105°24′), 48.2 km to 36° of Ha Giang city. Remnants of primary open mossy wet mixed forests with Pseudotsuga brevifolia along tops of limestone karst remnant ridge at elev. 1200-1250 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophytic forb on mossy shady rocky steep slopes and cliffs, mostly of N exposition. Leaves white-green tesselated above, heavy violet spotted below. Locally common.
