Paphiopedilum micranthum

N. Vietnam, Ha Giang prov., Dong Van distr., Ho Quang Phin municipality (N 23°11′ E 105°15′), 48.2 km to 36° of Ha Giang city. Remnants of dry mossy open coniferous forest with Pseudotsuga brevifolia along tops of remnant limestone karst ridge at elev. 1250-1300 m a.s.l. Lithophyte on shady cliffs, mostly of N exposition. Leaves green-whitish tesselated above, deep violet below. Very common.
