Paphiopedilum hirsutissimum var. chiwuanum

Viet Nam, Son La Prov., Yen Chau Distr., Muong Lun Municipality, On Oc village (20°59′06′'N, 104°28′46′'E). Primary broad-leaved evergreen mossy forest along tops of remnant highly eroded limestone ridge at elev. 1400-1450 m a.s.l. Frequent lithophyte. Flowers of typical coloration.
